the Cost of Party Invitations

We had 30 invitations made for our Super Bowl party. The cost of invitations plus envelopes was $50.00.

We had a Super Bowl party and wanted to have nice invitations made. We found a local printer who did personalized invitations for $50.00. He used a Super Bowl template with the logo of the Super Bowl and the logos of each of the two teams competing and then added our personal information.

The invitations came out looking pretty nice. They were in black and white so they weren't quite as dynamic as they could have been but the cost point up to color was a lot and in the end I don't think it would have been worth it.

The only real complaint we had was once the party started several people pointed out that we didn't have the legal right to use any of the logo's used. I'm sure it's not a big deal but it did make me a little uncomfortable and I felt like the printing company should have been aware of the laws on this.

In my experience, unless it's a wedding or a huge party, it's not worth it to pay the extra money to get your invitations printed in color.
