After getting several estimates, I found a company that offered a warranty on their work and they charged about half the price. They were able to come the following day. He quickly found that their was a problem with one of the heating elements and replaced it. Compared to other companies, I felt that the price was reasonable. I haven't had any problems with the dryer since then.

Depending on the type of dryer you have, repair cost can be very expensive. If your warranty is expired, consider renewing it before costly problems occur.
