I started a new consulting business and incurred a lot of expenses. But at the same time, I was also working a full-time and a part-time job. Much of my income was from employment versus business. Shop around for a good accountant who knows what you need and understands how to prepare the forms that are pertinent to your business or financial situation. And don't give in and settle for someone who charges less because when you get audited, you are the one on the hook, not the accountant.
