Description of service
I paid for 5 lessons up front to a person who had worked with artists in the music industry. He was a man I was referred to by others and he was very good. It was a class with a group of about 15 other individuals once a week and lasted for about an hour and a half. He also offered classes for children which were a cheaper than his adult classes. We did a rigorous routine of hip hop moves that got me into excellent shape in those weeks and also got me to be more coordinated. The price was a little expensive but I was working with one of the best and he had done moves for lots of celebrities. I have gone to salsa classes before and those were relatively cheap in my town, only $5 each time I went and you just showed up. But the class was a lot larger so less individualized attention.
Review of Service
I definitely thought I got what I paid for. I got a very good instructor whose level was beyond what I could hope for. I got a small class with more attention to the individual than you would find at your average gym hip-hop class. I also got someone who was a professional and knew that basics of dance because he had gone to school for it. I wouldn't have done it long term because it is expensive but it was great for a few times.L
Tips
Try out a class before you pay. Ask the instructor if you can come in and just try one class and then sign up for the series of classes.
