Description of service
We paid $1400 for a temporary employee to work the first two weeks in April as a tax preparer. They helped us through our busy tax season.
Review of Service
This was a great employee. We did not have time to interview and were at the mercy of whomever the temp service sent over. Luckily we got a great one. Even though there was no long term opportunity this professional treated all of our customers with respect and as though they had a lot invested in our success as a company. They required a minimal amount of training as their background was in tax preparation. We do use a tax preparation software that is different than what they were used to but they picked it up in no time as they were able to use their skills on a similar program to learn the ins and outs of ours. This employee was very prompt and reliable.
Tips
Finding someone who will give their all even when there is no opportunity for long term work or advancement is key. It's not easy to know if this is a quality a potential temporary employee has, but it is a good idea to make it clear to the staffing company that this is what is important to you.
