the Cost of Baby Shower Invitations

We got baby shower invitations made for my friend when she was having a baby. The cost of 100 invitations was $150 and included envelopes and thank you notes.

We used an online printing service for this. They had the best price for what we were looking for. The invitations we wanted were very ornate. There were 4 colors in total, with raised type. They came to us looking really great. We were definitely impressed by the quality and several other people at the shower commented on them.

However, the interface we used to get them was a pain. We had an option of using their templates and adding our own information or uploading a file with our completed design. We uploaded the file with the completed design we had a friend make for us, only to have the printing company call and tell us we hadn't filled out the template information correctly. Well, we didn't want to use the template at all! Once we got it straigtened out, they told us it would only be a week until we had them but it closer to 2 weeks. Good thing we ordered them well in advance.

Make sure you order your invitations as early as possible in case there are problems, especially if you are ordering them online.
