I got my bikini area waxed. The total cost was $50 for the first treatment. They also had 6 month plans available so you could save some money if you get the process done regularly.

I was going on a cruise and wanted to get a skimpy bathing sit for sun bathing. I'd never had a bikini wax but a friend recommended it for the type of bathing sit I got. The service was fine. I made an appointment and was seen by the technician within 10 minutes of the time I was supposed to see them. I told the technician it was my first time and she was great about telling me exactly what was going to happen and showing me all the supplies before she started working. It did hurt quite a bit and the area was tender for days. She told me all of this so I was prepared for it. She also told me some things to avoid for a few days afterwards.

The area was very red, bumpy and sore for days after the procedure. For this reason it is important to try to not have the procedure done right before a big event like a cruise.
