the Cost of a Party at a Rock Climbing Gym

I paid for my grandaugher's 10th birthday party. I went all out!! She has leukemia, but it's in remission right now, so I spoil her to death!!

I chose the deluxe package.

With the standard package, you get the services of the indoor rock climbing gym and you have to bring your own party supplies. With the deluxe package, which I chose, they provide everything - even the cake!!

The party was from 6 to 8 on a Saturday night. All their parties are after hours, that way the whole facility is at your disposal.

We had 9 girls at the party, my grandaughter and 8 guests. The price I paid was for 10 or less; if you had more, you paid $35 per extra person.

There's a $100 deposit

They have staff belayers (teachers) and they want you to have one adult for every four kids - every guest's parent wanted to come!!

They had a nice table set up with pizza and drinks, sort of like a buffet, so the kids could just eat whenever they wanted to. Because they were all coming to my house afterwards for a sleep-over, we decided to take the cake home - for that expensive a party, I thought we should spend the whole two hours rock climbing, we can eat cake anytime! We also waited to open gifts at my house, too.

All the parents had to sign a waiver, so I enclosed that with the party invitation and made sure they all had them when they came to my house before the party.

Spend the money and do this!! It was expensive, but maybe you could plan it with some other parents and share the expense - like all the summer birthday parties at once.
