the Cost of a Party at a Rock Climbing Gym

The $500 I spent only covered the cost of renting the rock-climbing room out for a private party. I was allowed to have up to 50 people attend. They had 2 employees in the room with us throughout the party to help anyone and answer any questions. The party was 6 hours.

I think this was a pretty good price for a 6 hour party. It did cost quite a bit more once I bought all the food, drinks, decorations and cake. They didn't charge a cutting fee or anything to bring the food in. They did not, however, allow alcohol off any kind as rock-climbing, even in a controlled environment, can be dangerous. I think everyone had a really good time. There was only one person there who'd ever done any kind of rock-climbing before so everyone thought it was a great unique idea.

I don't think this would be the best for kids as it can be somewhat dangerous. I doubt they will let you bring alcohol so be sure that your guests know that, several of mine were somewhat disappointed. If you have older friends in your crowd this isn't for them. Otherwise, this can be a really fun unique way to celebrate all kinds of things.
