the Cost of Trade Shows

This is the price we paid for a booth rental at a local trade show that features products and services for homeowners. The show is open to the public for a small fee. We have attended this show many times and have always had an excellent response. This price did not include any advertising, marketing, or freebies that we gave away. This was just how much we paid to rent a booth. This trade show lasted two days and approximately twenty thousand people attended the event. The price was for both days and our booth was priced in the middle. Some booths were more expensive, some were less.

Our small business really benefits from trade shows. The booth was located in a high traffic area near other products similar in nature to ours (outdoor products, awnings). We made so many contacts. In our experience, the price of a booth rental at a trade show will almost always pay for itself!

If you are trying to save money, ask where some of the smaller booths are located. If you can get a booth in a high traffic area, then it really will not matter as much if the booth is small or large!
