the Price of Tree Trimming

My house is surrounded by close to 30 shrubs and bushes that as of lately have been getting a bit bushy and overcrowded. I thought about buying a trimmer and doing it myself, but I opted to hire it done and relax while watching. $350 got the bushes trimmed down below the windows and made the house look much better from the street. The company also picked up most of the stuff they trimmed off and disposed of it in their truck. Very simple process, but it was a time saver for me to just hire it done.

They came at 8am to beat the sun. It wasn't particularly hot, but it was very sunny. They trimmed everything to look nice in about two hours then they spent 30 minutes picking up the scraps that were cut off the bushes. It looked great and I'll probably hire them again in a couple years when they need similar trimming done again. All I had to do was call and make an appointment and pay the bill. Fairly easy.

You don't need to tip these guys usually because they make a decent hourly salary to make up for this, so don't worry about that. If you feel inclined bring them something to drink, but otherwise you don't need to do much of anything.
