Description of service
After a particularly nasty, messy winter, I decided to take my car to a detailer and have them fix her up properly for spring. For my money I got the following done to the inside of my car: * Blow Out /Vacuum Interior & Trunk * Clean Shampoo Upholstery, Carpets, Seats and Floor Mats (no headliners) * Clean all Vents, Gauges, Knobs, etc.
* Clean & Dress all Interior Vinyl * Clean & Condition Leather * Clean Windows, Mirrors & Ashtray. The outside of my car had the following done to it: * Hand Wash & Chamois Dry * Moderate Bug & Tar Removal * Clean Tires, Rims & Wheel Wells * Clean Door jambs
* Clay Paint * Machine Buff Exterior to Remove Light to Medium Scratches and/or Dull Oxidized Paint * Machine Polish Exterior to Remove Swirl Marks & Produce a Glossy Shine
* Hand Application of Wax * Detail Logos & Trim to Remove Excess Wax Residue * Rim/wheels Polishing * Dress Tires & Trim * Blow Out/ Vacuum Interior & Trunk * Wipe Down dash (no heavy cleaning) * Clean Windows, Mirrors & Ashtrays. You drop off the car and wait in the waiting room while they take care of all of these things.
Review of Service
Having this done was incredible. The price was a lot higher than I had anticipated but so worth the finished product. It looked like it just came off the showroom floor when they were done with it! I would recommend this to anyone who can afford it, especially if you live somewhere with rough winters (all that salt is horrible for your car). The workers were really nice too and they gave me free snacks and drinks while I waited.
Tips
The only thing I wish I would have done was shop around for a better price. I also found out after the fact that they had a coupon online I could have used to save $25.00, so that was a letdown. Also, just be prepared to pay a lot. They are basically getting in there with a toothbrush, so it is not cheap.
