Description of service
As an anniversary gift to each other, my husband and I got his and her massages, although I'm not that crazy about people invading my personal space. The cost of both massages was $180 plus $20 for a tip.
Review of Service
The salon was very quiet and subdued with soft music playing in the background and low lights throughout. I could've easily fallen asleep in the waiting area, it was so calming.
My husband and I were in the same room, so I was much more relaxed than if we'd been separated. While my husband loved the deep tissue massage and was actually snoring about midways into it, I ended up asking if I could switch from deep tissue to one using essential oils. The essential oil massage was indeed much more relaxing from my standpoint, but I can't say as that I would ever do this again, especially by myself. My husband, on the other hand, can't wait to get another one and is already asking if we can do this next year for our anniversary.
Tips
If you're going with a spouse, call around and see if they can accompany you both in the same room, especially if you're anxious. Also, if you have an extremely wide personal space area, as I do, you should mention that beforehand and see if they have suggestions as to the type of massage that would best benefit you.
