the Price of a Pediatric Dental Cleaning

This is the price per child that our pediatric dentist charged for a routine dental check up for someone like me who does not have a dental insurance plan. The price included full x-rays, cleaning by a dental hygienist, and a check up from the dentist where he looked at my children's teeth.

Pediatric dentists can be a bit expensive, but I think the dentist we go to is great with children. In fact, my children love to go to the dentist! The children are taken to a waiting room without parents when they first arrive. The waiting room has a large screen television and various video games. It also has tons of toys, coloring books, and a lego table. Meanwhile, the nurses took us (the parents) into a separate room where they discuss what the visit is for. After the children hadtheir check up and teeth cleaned, the nurse calls the parent back to the room to talk to the dentist about our children's situation. The dentist and nurses were all very personable and really made the visit fun for the kids. First time patients get a picture taken with the dentist to commemorate their first dental visit. All the kids get a toothbrush, toothpaste, and sticker.

By far, the best resource for finding a great pediatric dentist are other parents. They can usually tell you who the most reputable pediatric dentists are in your area.
