I paid $30 for a full brazilian wax, not including tip. I gave her a $10 tip so my grand total for the service was $40. This was at an upscale salon with a spa-like waxing room; it was a very nice and relaxing location.
Review of Service
I received a full brazilian wax from a professional, at a salon-type location. She was very friendly when greeting me which is important, I think, because it makes you feel a litle more comfortable and a little less vulnerable! The waxing room was dim, candle lit, and very relaxing. It was almost a spa-like setting. She tried to make conversation during the waxing session to distract me a bit which I found helpful and I appreciated. Overall I was very pleased with the service.
Tips
If you want to cut-down the price go for a basic bikini wax instead of a brazilian. Also, you need to leave modesty at the door when getting a brazilian wax! You will never again feel quite that vulnerable and exposed! Make sure you are comfortable with the situation, it's going to be awkward at first. This is why having a waxing professional who tries to be friendly is helpful and important.
