Description of service
I ordered bridal shower invitations from a local partygoods/printing shop. After viewing some samples on their website, I called to inquire about more specific pricing and how early I need to place an order. Since I was getting my invitation printed up specially, they advised placing the order 3-4 weeks before I need them. I placed my order 4 weeks in advance and the order came in just 2 and a half weeks, so I had plenty of time to send them. I ordered 50 invitations, at just about 3 dollars each, which included the custom printing and envelopes.
Review of Service
The website was surprisingly not that helpful, but I knew of the local business for some time, and had heard good things so I still decided to use them. When I called, however, the salesperson was more than helpful and very patient with all my questions. When I visited the store I dealt with the same person and she carefully helped me pick out the best invitations for my event and even helped offer suggestions for specific wording. As I mentioned above, the invitations came in earlier than expected, and they were beautiful. No complaints.
Tips
If you don't know of a good local store you can order from, there is of course the internet, however there are so many choices its hard to pick the right one. I would definitely suggest asking around and seeing if you can get a good recommendation from friends and family. People often skimp on invitations, but I find a quality invitation sets the tone for the whole party. If you want a classy affair, get quality invites!
