the Cost of Business Card Printers

I am an in house graphic designer for a small firm so I am constantly updating and sending in business card orders. The cards that we have printed are full color on a typical white card stock. Nothing special, but you can get a box of cards for $30. A box is about 1000 cards. Of course if you wanted bleeds in full color it would be a bit more expensive.

I have used several printers for printing my companies business cards and have seen a number of different prices. By far $30 is the best price that I have found for the same basic business card. The only difference is the printing process. It is done with laser printing as opposed to offset printing which is typically a lot more expensive. The printer always delivers my business cards to the office so all I need to do is put it in my fellow coworkers mail box.

I used to try to fit as many business cards as I could on the document that I send the printer. However we found that with laser printing you just had to do one on a sheet of paper and the price is lower. I don't exactly understand the logic, but make sure that you know the best way to send your document to the printer.
