Description of service
Last year I needed a truck so I went to dealers in Port Angeles, which is about 100 miles from my home. We have no dealers in our local town. The car dealer I went to was considered a reputable dealer who had been in business for many years. I had called around for the type of truck I wanted and this dealer had one on the lot. I had $500 to put down on the truck but would need a car loan for the remainder.
Review of Service
As my credit was overextended, I knew I would have to pay a higher interest fee. Once I decided to buy the truck, we settled on a price. Now for the financing. My dealer called around and finally got me a loan at a semi local bank. They did the paper work immediately and within an hour I was driving the truck out the lot. Not only was the dealer really good with me but the bank did an excellent job and work with me all the way. My payment book came right on time with no hidden costs added. I was very pleased, as so many times the quote is not the actual pay.
Tips
Know what you want before buying a car. Look up the blue book value, check out for financing first if possible. Know of the dealer you are working with. Find out what the interest rates are for used cars.
