Description of service

Auto loan for a new car including tax, title, licensing fees and pay off of existing loan for trade-in car.

Review of Service

The sales staff was very rude and pushy and kept reminding us of our credit issues. We nearly walked out 3 times. The loan officer pressured us to get an extended warranty, shorter loan period, and to change our due date. He was gruff and rude and at times condescending.

Tips

If you want to get a new car and your credit is not perfect, be sure you know what to expect and be willing to walk away. Car dealerships that have their own in-house financing programs are the worst for pressuring you into a car you do not want, can not afford, and into programs like extended warrantees that you do not need. Be sure to do your research and be prepared to play the game. Remember that YOU are the customer and you are the one in control of the situation, even though they may make you feel like they are the ones in control. Do not sign any loan agreement unless you have read ALL that you are signing. They will try to tack on lots of extras that they do not even tell you about. Just be smart about it.
