the Price of Emergency Chiropractic Care

I had an emergency visit with a doctor of chiropractic. My neck was really sore after a fall off a short ladder. The staff helped me with my paperwork, lots of questions had to be answered. The doctor performed a brief exam, took some x-rays of my neck and then adjusted me. She told me to go home and rest, put some ice on my neck and come back in two days for a follow up visit.

I thought the doctor did a good job, she listened to what I had to say about my accident, seemed to be truly concerned. The exam did not take long, but she did a lot of tests, just like a regular doctor. Then she took x-rays and showed me where my pain was coming from. I got on the table and she adjusted my neck, I thought it would hurt but it didn't. I felt better right away. I was also happy that I did not spend hours in the reception room. They gave me an appointment time for a few hours after I called and they got me right into the exam room as soon as I got there.

I called a friend who I knew went to a chiropractor. She gave me the doctor's name and number. I didn't think just picking someone out of the phone book was such a good idea. They did not put me in a hospital gown, so I think wearing loose fitting clothes would be helpful.
