the Price of a Month of After School Daycare

We pay $400 for an after school daycare very near to my child's school. This includes transport to the after school daycare.

This is great, if a little over priced. There are 4 different teachers there and they are all certified teachers. They also have a person on duty who is a certified nutritionist. She comes in once a month and teaches the kids about eating healthy and the benefits of exercising. This is really a great service. They play a lot of educational games and also help the kids with their homework. They take them on occassional field trips. Every Halloween they take them to a local nursing home to show the elderly folks their Halloween costumes, which is tons of fun for the kids and the elders. It's the little things like this that make the after school daycare totally worth the money.

Try to find an after school day care that does really unique things to keep your kids interested and active. I think nutrition is really important so make sure they aren't feeding your kids crud that is terrible for them as a snack. Drop by occassionaly unannounced to see how the kids are getting along and being treated.
