the Price of a Month of After School Daycare

Afterschool care for an elementary-aged child from 3:20pm to 6:30pm 5 days a week for one month. Children are escorted from their classrooms to the all-purpose room where the service provider has partnered with the school. Children can attend 3 to 5 days per week. This service is provided by a local non-profit well-established organization. Up to 50 children can be accomodated.

The service provider partners with the school and supervises the children on-location. This way they don't have to be transported to another location. Children are supervised and well-looked after. Childcare workers are studious, vigilant, pleasant and friendly. Snacks and drinks are provided.

There have been times when the temperature in the school building seemed too warm and the fans that were in place seemed inadequate. On days like this, toward the end of the school year, they hand out popsicles to keep the children cool and spend most of the time outside.

Light arts and crafts projects are encouraged and often children don't want to leave when their parents arrive because they are too involved in creating their materpieces.

It's best to call beforehand if there are any changes to designated pick-ups.

They are very accessible and always answer their on-site phone.

Parents can fill out special forms to ensure that the childcare worksers encourage their child to do their homework in aftercare.
