Description of service
This is the price we paid to have a local shoe repair shop replace the soles in a pair of my husband's casual loafers. The price included the cost to replace the soles in both pairs of shoes. It took about a two and a half weeks to complete the replacement. The soles were rubber and they were replaced with the same soles that were originally on the shoes. The repair took a bit longer because the shoe repair shop had to order the soles from the manufacturer and they were not originally in stock.
Review of Service
This pair of shoes were my husband's favorite! So, when the soles started to wear thin and he could not find an identical pair to replace them with, we decided to have the soles replaced instead. The shop we used was amazing. When we picked up the shoes, they had cleaned them so well- they actually looked like a brand new pair of shoes. Also, the store gave us a shoe polishing kit as a little gift. We hardly ever throw away a pair of shoes now; we have them repaired instead!
Tips
Most cities only have a few shoe repair shops, so ask your friends and family if they know of a reputable cobbler. Most shoe repair shops will offer a variety of repair options.
