the Price of Family Portrait Photography

The service included a sitting fee for family portraits at a private photographer's studio. The sitting fee included about 1 hour of unlimited pictures. This was a one on one session with the photographer in his private studio and garden. The actual photos were extra and were quite expensive, but of course depended on how many you wanted. We paid about $500 additional but got all sorts of pictures and proofs.

The photographer provided amazing service. The personal attention was wonderful, and his garden and studio provided unique and beautiful scenery for the portraits. He had an excellent eye for arranging our family and making great use of his gardens and the inside studio as well. The photos all turned out excellent, and he provided us with hard proofs of all of them (pre-selecting his favorites but giving them all to us to take home and look at). We then scheduled another private appointment to come back and have him help us decide which packages and photos to order. Overall, his services were excellent and we would definitely use him again.

Look at lots of photographer's websites and definitely ask around. Many people have favorite photographers for their family or even senior portraits. Somebody who has their own garden and studio is ideal because they know it so well. Also, check out websites to see if you like their style of photography, as all photographers differ quite a bit.
