Description of service
We stayed at a small co-up RV campground near Pekin, Georgia. It was off season and the cost was $25.
Review of Service
This was just fine for the price we paid, but wasn't a great experience.
The main problem was that it was off-season so a lot of the amenities they had weren't available. They told us this upfront so we certainly didn't blame the park. We did have access to a shower (although there was only one stall per gender and it was pretty dirty) and reasonably clean bathrooms.
We also had hook-ups for electricity and water.
The problem was that there was no food in the area. During the regular season they have a little corner store and a small cafeteria. As it wasn't anywhere near capacity both of these places were closed, yet their buildings remained, taunting us.
Tips
If you are traveling during the off-season of a particular place, you should always ask if they have a special price for off-season rates. They usually do but don't always post it. In addition, if it is off-season you should be sure to bring your own provisions as the food shops aren't typically open during these times.
