the Price of Tanning

The tanning salon that I usually go to costs 12 dollars for the average 15 minute or less tan in a normal tanning bed. I paid exactly 12 dollars for the service. I could go in for as long as I wanted up to 15 minutes for the same price. I received a 12 minute tan in the normal bed.

I received just a tan in what the place called a normal tanning bed. The bed was very clean, and there was a sign on my bed that said it had been cleaned by a technician. There was even a towel there for me to use after I got out of the bed. The place did not provide the special eye protectors, which some places do provide for you. I had my own, but they have them available for you to purchase at all tanning salons since they are necessary. The normal tan was just fine, however it takes a few more times to notice a darker color. It really helps if you put on some special tanning lotion, which most places also sell. However, I received a good first tan from a normal bed by only going in 12 minutes. If I had gone in longer I probably would have burned.

Make sure to ask the tanning technicians how long you should go in the bed for. Each bed is different, some have newer bulbs or a stronger amount of light that will be put down on you. You want to make sure that you do not burn, because then you will have just paid for your body to peel. It is always better to go in for a little less than you think to make sure you don't burn. Always remember to wear the special goggles and try to buy a good tanning lotion since it will help you tan faster and help you keep it longer.
