I paid eight dollars for a single tanning session. That, basically, included up to 15 minutes in one if the simple, old fashioned regular beds. Purchasing tanning lotion is a separate cost.

The technology in the world of tanning has advanced so much that the traditional tanning beds are nearly obsolete. For eight dollars I was able to use one of these beds but, If I had been willing to pay a big more for one of the newer fancier beds, I would have had better results. Using the cheaper tanning bed you will have to return more frequently for results. If you utilize one of the newer models you will be able to see results in less time and with less effort. It's completely subjective, and just a matter of preference.

I hightly recommend purchasing a tanning package. The best package, I think, is to have unlimited use for one month. You can go as often as you like (2-3 times a week, or every day if you want) which means you can use the less expensive older style tanning bed, despite the fact that it takes longer to achieve a tan. After your one month has expired you will, hopefully, have achieved your desired color. From then on you can just pay-per-tan and go once a week, or less, just to maintain your new color.
