Description of service
I went to one of the salons in Eau Claire Wisconsin that has tanning. They have lay down type tanning beds. These are not high intensity beds. I was checked in my one of the salons staff and shown to the tanning bed area. The staff member explained to me that I just holler "ready" and the salon staff will turn the bed on from the outside. They also instructed me as to how to use the protective eye wear. I wad shown the tanning bed cleaner and instructed how to clean the tanning bed once I was finished tanning.
Review of Service
The service was just fine. The staff was very friendly and thoroughly instructed me on how to use the tanning bed. The staff also gave me several options of tanning lotions for sale and told me the benefits of each lotion. I was surprised that the lotion that was the most recommended by the salon staff was one of the less expensive ones they sold!
Tips
Definately ask when the tanning bulbs are changed. It is important that the tanning bulbs are changed frequently or else you will not get a good tan. Also if a bulb doesn't light up definitely let the tanning salon staff know or you will end up with a white stripe where the bulb is burned out.
