I paid for an abdominoplasty or a tummy tuck as it is commonly called. The $5641 included the surgeons fees, the anesthesia, and the facility cost as well as medication. I had lost wait and needed the extended abdominoplasty. The surgeon went in and removed excess skin and tighten the muscles as well. The fee also included two post op exams to make sure all was healing correctly.

I was very satisfied with the service. The surgeon explained the procedure including the risks and the recovery time. I was told it would take about 8 months for the full effects of the tummy tuck to be seen but now, 5 months later it looks great. The surgeon was understanding and realistic. He told me that after having 2 kids in 10 months and loosing 50 pounds he could not make me look like Britney Sprears but that he could tighten the sagging muscles and remove some of the excess skin to prevent to wrinkling that I was having. He was able to stop the wrinking in my skin and make it look smooth and taught. He made me feel very comfortable going into the procedure.

Research your doctor well, get multiple opinions and talk to previous patients if possible. Verify all credialts with the correct agencies and don't be too stuck on the price, the cheapest doctor may not always be the best choice. This is your body, not a building project- the job should not always go to the lowest bidder.
