I received a full tummy tuck in September of 2008, as a result of damage done to my abdomen during a multiple pregnancy I required extensive muscle repair as well as the tummy tuck. My Belly button was recreated and all stretch marks, and excess skin was removed during the surgery.
Review of Service
The procedure it self took a good bit of time and I was required to stay in the hospital for four days after. I had staples and drains that needed care. Due to my muscle repair I required more care than others. It was an easy recovery, much like that of a C-section. I was very pleased with the outcome and with the knowledge of the staff and doctors that I was working with.
Tips
Do not go with the cheapest doctor, while it is not necessary to go with the most expensive you will want to make sure you are going with one that can do the job and do it right. Have comfortable clothes to wear for some time after. Do not over do it to soon, remember your muscles and skin are a lot tighter now it is going too be harder to move around. Have a small pillow to place on your stomach when you need to move.
