Description of service

I am a member of the a professional association and the annual dues are $495. This includes a Certificate of Membership and the quarterly news letter. In addition it allows for postings on a monthly mailing list.

Review of Service

As a System Designer it is important to be kept aware of the constant changes and improvements in the business. Through association and conversations with other members we are able to review and comment on ideas and concepts

with a sense that there will be truthful feedback.

In my years as a member, I have had very positive results through this forum and it has been beneficial both from a financial and educational standpoint. Communicating with my peers is most important when trying to provide outstanding service to my clients.

With the rapidly changing requirements of todays business atmosphere, it is important to be kept abreast of the latest technologies and incorporate them into a workable solution to better serve the client.

One problem with trying to communicate with fellow members is their busy schedules. We are all, hopefully, working,on projects and time is always limited for this type of communications.

This membership is well worth the cost in dollars and time.

Tips

When looking for a professional organization be sure to speak directly with current members. Ask questions concerning the benefits, costs, pitfalls, how they have personally benefited, and how long they have been members.

I did the above homework and feel satisfied with my choice.
