Description of service
I chose a cable service consisting of roughly 75 channels including local and national. It has everything we need. With the direct line to the 3 TV's in my house and no extras to worry about. The downside with the basic package is you don't get the fun extras such as movie channels or even on demand.
Review of Service
The service is average. With a 1-800 numnber for customer service inquires during business hours and techs that can visit your home by making an appointment its really the best system since cable something wrong with your cable is not really call for an emergency.
Tips
if you're changing your services or starting a new service, wait for a deal or ask about special promotions. You may get extras you don' have to pay for or a discount on the service that you want. i you have internet and a landline you may also want to ask about special offers that will save you money on those services as well. Well the speed of cable modem and the convience of being able to talk on your phone with no worries about long distance and included features such as caller ID and call waiting its worth looking into.
