Description of service
I have a checking and a savings account. You have to have an automatic transfer from your checking to savings account every month otherwise you will be assessed a fee of $3. They only charge you that if you do not have the funds to do the automatic transfer for two or more months in a row. If you do not have at least two accounts linked to your checking account you will be assessed a fee of $8 a month. They have free internet banking and bill pay. They also have overdraft protection.
Review of Service
This is the best banking experience that I have ever had. I love the idea that I do not have to go into the bank to withdraw, transfer or deposit funds. You can deposit money from their ATM. You can transfer between your savings account and your checking account on the internet. Their bill pay option will automatically pay your recurring bills for you or you can still pay your bills manually right over the internet. I have never had a problem with their employees. They have very good customer service. The bank lets you review your account right on the internet in between receiving statements. You can have paper or paperless statements.
Tips
Do your homework. Not every bank is the same in terms of customer service and options in you checking or savings account. Be sure to check the fees that are assigned with the accounts that you want to open. A lot of banks have hidden fees that are assessed without you even realizing that they are there.
