Description of service
I paid $11 for a day pass at the rock gym where you and your partner got instructions on how to tie the ropes to be able to climb different walls. We were taught with a group of about 5 how to do the basics of rock climbing but mainly the knots that were needed in order to go up and rock climb. We were given the harnesses and everything we needed, even the shoes. And then after a 30 minute demo we were allowed to stay and climb as long as we wanted.
Review of Service
I thought the place was a bit old and dusty, and teaching us how to tie the knots took so long. But the courses were color-coded by difficulty and the actual climbing was very fun. You would need to go with a friend or companion because someone always needs to be with you while you go up to be on the other side of your rope. They were friendly and it was an excellent workout with lots of people to meet and snakcs there. It would be better if there was some sort of deli or smoothie place there. But for all the instruction I think it was cheap.
Tips
Just make sure you go with someone else, it really takes two to climb. Also you can get coupons and discounts at most places with school ids and other things.
