Description of service
This was a rock wall climbing gym. The forty dollars covers a day pass for two people climbing walls, shoe rental, harness rental, and, if desired, belay certification.
Review of Service
My wife and I have been very happy with this service. There are about 18 top rope courses set up, as well as bouldering, so there's plenty to do. The courses are changed fairly regularly, and come in a wide variety of levels of difficulty; we've taken absolute newbie friends of ours climbing with us, and they've been able to find things to climb, and there are people there who are obviously in a totally different league - some of them amazing climbers - and they've kept coming back over the few years we've used this. We no longer pay forty dollars each time, because we've purchased our own shoes; once we've got harnesses, we'll be paying under thirty total. It's been excellent exercise and totally worth the money.
Tips
The best advice I can offer is to look around; a lot of places are both more expensive and less well equipped than our gym. Also, once you're sure you want to keep climbing - and make sure you're *sure* - you'll want to buy shoes and harnesses. They'll pay for themselves within seven or eight climbings. Last tip: do this! It's awesome!
