the Price of Dentures

I received a complete set of upper dentures. Total cost was $1250.00. Included in this cost was the initial visit with the dentist, a second vist to make impressions, the teeth, the appointment to receive the dentures and 2 follow up visits. Also, included was extra for the color of the dentures. My two follow up visits included any adjustments required. There was no actual breakdown of costs, just the fee of $1250.

As for the service I received, no complaints whatsoever. From the beginning the dentist and his staff were professional and courteous. I never felt rushed and everything was explained to me in detail. The dentures were ready when I was told they would be and they fit perfectly. I never needed to have them adjusted but I did go for my follow up appointment just to have them checked. The office was very clean and the staff always wore gloves and all instruments came out of sterile packages.

When looking for a reputable place to get dentures, check on line and with the better business bureau. Also, check with the American Dental Association. Call around to different dentists and dental clinics for costs and procedures performed. Ask questions. Find out how long it takes to get the dentures. Do they send off to have them made or is the lab on site? These are important.
