Description of service
The service was $50.00 and came with a small hypo allergenic hoop with ball. I also gave the technician a $10.00 tip. I was taken back to a small semi-private room and had to undo my pants just enough to allow the piercing location to show, I was wiped down with some orange antibacterial product and the technician with one swoop too the long piercing needle and made the opening for the hoop which was slid right into place as the needle pushed through it pulled the hoop so I was only poked once. I was then wiped off given a mirror to check out the finished product and was on my way.
Review of Service
The technician was friendly and the service was quick, I was nervous but to my surprise this did not hurt at all. I do feel the piercing was done a little too deep and high above my belly button though, with having a little belly fat it just looked like it hung incorrectly. I experienced a lot of discharge and it did become infected. I was told to use dial liquid soap to clean it out once a day and to spin the hoop ring to make sure it did not close up around it. It was hard wearing jeans as I had to leave them unbuttoned and tuck the snaps in so it would not irritate my piercing. I eventually took it out after 5 or 6 months and it closed up right away, but did leave a scar.
Tips
No pain and yes they are cute, just make sure you get it done in summer so you time to allow it to heal wearing the cute belly tops and hip hugger jeans. Work clothes do not do well for the healing process.
