Description of service
I had my belly button (they called it a navel piercing) pierced at a local piercing studio. The cost was $40 and included basic jewelry. I gave a $5 tip so the total was $45.
Review of Service
This studio was very clean and professional. They made sure to use a sealed needle that had never been used. They showed it to me before they opened it so I would feel totally comfortable that it was in fact clean and unused. They talked me through the whole process. It was my first piercing so they told me all about what I could expect and how to know if it was infected. They included a few bottles of topical medication to clean the wound and to use in case of infection. They said if I had any problems to come back and they would help in anyway they could. I didn't have any problems with the piercing so I didn't have to take them up on this. They were very patient and did not make me feel rushed even though there were quite a few people waiting.
Tips
I did have an appointment and I didn't get in right when they said I could. It seemed like a pretty laid back place and a pretty common occurance so be sure to be willing to wait a little bit to get the best service.
