Description of service
For this particular food delivery, I received a small cheese steak, plus a side order of cheese fries. The cheese steak cost $6. The cheese fries cost $3. They added a $1 charge for delivery. In addition, I gave the driver a $2 tip.
Review of Service
I was extremely happy with the service. The food came within 10-15 minutes, even though the person who took my call estimated it would take 45 minutes. The driver was prompt and polite, making sure he greeted me and said “Good Evening.” The food arrived very hot, which is always nice. That way I know it’s fresh. The cheese steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. The roll was a perfect consistency – not too crusty, but not to wimpy. The meat was grilled to perfection, seasoned just right and had just enough grease to make it taste good. The French fries were good, although I like my fries to be a bit softer than these were. The cheese sauce for dipping was a nice, gooey texture with a robust cheesy flavor. It was certainly a meal worth the $12.
Tips
One thing to keep in mind is how far away you live from the place you are ordering from. The farther away you live, the longer it will take and the colder you food will be. Also, your food will arrive quicker if you order at a non-peak time. Finally, tip the driver well so you will get better service the next time.
