Description of service
I had this procedure done in a new spa in my neighborhood. The grand opening 'special price' was $100 and I tipped $10 bringing the total for the procedure to $100.00.
Review of Service
I didn't really know what dermabrasion was but my daughter was in town, saw the sign that a new spa was opening and insisted I try it. Well, I wasn't very impressed. It hurt! Basically, as far as I can tell, they cover your face with some thick gross goop and then scrub your face really hard. Not my idea of a great time. They didn't really tell me what exactly to expect before it started and I was a little alarmed. The hostess or receptionist who had us sign up for the appointment was very friendly but everyone else I encountered seemed really bored with themselves. I thought this was especially strange considering they were just opening and need to build their clientele. When it was over I was asked by the receptionist how my experience was. I told her it wasn't that good and she did apologize but didn't seem very concerned.
Tips
Be forewarned - this will hurt! I don't really know what it's supposed to achieve but if I were you, I'd look into this before you spend $100 on it.
