I used a search engine optimization company that submits your website to a various number of different search engines. It was great to let someone else do the work for me. You tell them what your website is about and then give them keywords and then they will take care of the rest.
Review of Service
I really liked how easy it was to use their program. I'm not sure that I was as impressed with the results. It's hard to tell though if that is just how the internet is, or if it was because of the SEO that I used. We build web sites and we used this particular company for some of our clients. For one or two it worked great for some others it did not increase traffic and we had to turn to something else.
Tips
Make sure you have some realistic expectations from your search engine optimization products. With the internet it takes time to become listed with most of the search engines. You can't just sign up and then expect to be on the top of the natural listing the next day. You can also be in the sponsored links which appear at the very top of the search results.
