Description of service
My best friend gave me a great recommendation for a wedding florist, and she turned out to be very helpful and willing to work with our budget to deliver beautiful arrangements for a total cost of $1100. She provided the wedding bouquet, stands of flowers at the wedding ceremony, centerpieces at the reception, corsages for our mothers, and lovely small arrangements around the room and on the main table and gift table.
Review of Service
Because she was a very experienced florist, she was easy to work with and, once she had an idea of our budget and the colors that we were working with, she made some solid and economical suggestions that helped get us to a great result. We didn't really care so much about the types of flowers, but we wanted simple arrangements that looked elegant and happy, and she delivered on everything. During the few months that she was working on the project, she regularly emailed me with pictures and asked for my opinion about the work, which I really appreciated. The cost of $1100 was reasonable and what we had budgeted, and we felt like we got our money's worth with all of the flowers around the room and not having to worry about the service, since she and her assistant were there in plenty of time to set it all up and make sure that we liked it.
Tips
My tip is to trust the florist if they are experienced with weddings, because they will have a good idea of how things will look in real life and can really help you avoid any potential disaster. Also, have a firm budget when you are selecting the wedding flowers because you will see lots of things that you want and the florist might encourage you to just add a little here and there, but it will really break your budget, so be firm.
