the Cost of Travel Agents

I normally wouldn't use a travel agent, but I was in a hurry and it was for business. The lady helped plan and make me an itinerary from New York City to Orlando Florida. The reason I say it only cost $100 is because that's the commission the agent received. The trip in all cost around $700 because it was only for a three day weekend where the airlines hike the ticket cost since you aren't staying longer than a week. A decent hotel was also included. The only additional costs were food and leisure.

The lady who helped me was great at rushing my request through to get my trip planned in less than a week. I'm sure I paid some premiums, but it was for business so I had very few options. The trip its self was great. I went to my conference and still had time to enjoy the weather and sit on the beach even though I was only there for three days and two nights. I prefer to plan my own trip when possible, but considering I had little choice, I'm happy with my choice.

It's a little more expensive to use a travel agent, but it is possible that they may have access to cheaper fares than you would be able to find online.
