Free unlimited 56k dial-up service for the Seattle-Bellevue area and other parts of Western Washington. Service is also available for parts of New England. No set-up fees. This service has been available since 1999. No pop-up ads or browser ads. No email accounts provided. For $10 per month you can get an email account, free tech support and 10 MB of storage or web hosting.
Review of Service
I've been using this service for over three years now. Service has been available 365 days a year. They may be down a few hours one or two days a year. When this happens I can't get a connection with any of the numbers in their dialer, but this is never longer than an hour or two. They have a FAQ page for technical questions. Tech Support is available for $10 per call and I've never had to use it. Instructions for downloading the dialer and setting up an account are clear and easy to follow.
Tips
Use a google search to look for free internet access in Seattle. Use the FAQ page for problems connecting or staying connected. I have a back-up internet access account with another ISP that gives me ten free hours per month. I rarely have to use them, but it's good to have for peace of mind.
