I received a full service manicure and pedicure from a nail salon that I have gone to many times. My manicure included nail treatment, nail shaping, hand massage, nail polishing, and secured finish. My pedicure included a relaxing foot and lower leg massage, the treatment of my toe nails and cuticles, and toe nail polishing.

I was very impressed and happy with the services rendered. As I have come to expect at this particular nail studio, I was given time and consideration; I did not feel rushed as I have at other places. My manicure and pedicure were both of adequate length, and my service provider was very pleasant, conversational, and attentive to my needs. I know this summer I will again frequent this establishment at bimonthly.

I think one of the most important things to consider when choosing a nail studio -- especially when getting a pedicure -- is the overall cleanliness of the establishment. If you can observe their policies and practices in action, this is even better. I always start with a manicure, and watch how things are handled before I decide to return for a pedicure. I pay particular attention to if the stations are cleaned thoroughly after every patron; if proper procedures are followed for the handling of instruments used; and if fresh towels etc. are provided when the next customer sits down.
