Description of service
I recently paid to have a manicure and pedicure combination done at a local nail salon. I was charged $20 for both, which I thought was a great deal. My nails were all done in roughly half an hour. I tipped the woman who did my nails an extra five dollars at the end.
Review of Service
I really loved the job the woman did on my nails. She worked quickly yet was precise, and my nails all came out perfect. I also liked the fact that this particular salon had a variety of nail polish colors to choose from and also included a design element to the manicure for no extra charge. Although the price was cheap, the salon was in good condition. I inquired about and observed good hygienic practices in the salon. I also enjoyed the fact that the manicurist was pleasant to chat with while she was doing my nails.
Tips
The primary reason for the fact that I was charged such a reasonable fee for this service is that I live in an area where there are many nail salons so competition is high. I would also recommend shopping around to find a salon with an atmosphere that you really like, since you are going to be there at least a half hour or so. Lastly, never sacrifice the cleanliness of a salon just to get a deal.
