The service was German lessons for our son. They were done through a private school and the sessions were held at the local community center. The course was done in a very professional and yet down-to-earth manner. We were very pleased. The class perhaps focused a bit more on grammar and less on vocabulary than we would have hoped, but all in all, it was a success. The instructor made learning the German language fun, without making it a "babysitting" class either. A lot of interactive games that kept the interest going. German can be a very hard second language to learn, so we were happy that our son was interested and eager throughout.

My tip would be to ask around for referalls. Don't just try a random class with a random instructor from an advertisement that might sound like a good deal. Language classes thrive only if they have instructors that have a good personality. Ask for recommendations from friends who have done it before.
