Description of service
I attended law school at a State University. I graduated in three years and had a partial grant for books and fees. The services I received were instruction in law, ethics, etc. The cost of $56,000 is the balance of my loans for that education which includes books, fees and other necessary materials. It also included a hi-tech digital recorder for lectures.
Review of Service
I feel that I received a very intense legal education that prepared me to not only pass the Bar Exam but to receive several job offers prior to graduation. The faculty was outstanding as were the visiting staff members.
The classes were large but not overcrowded and students were able to schedule personal time with faculty members with a little advanced notice. As with any advanced degree, the competition is intense and the work very demanding. There is no such thing as free time. You attend classes, study and prepare for exams. Now that I look back on my law school experiences I am certainly glad to have chosen a career in law. It was well worth the effort.
Tips
Apply early for graduate school and be sure that all forms are complete and accurate. Do your homework and seek financial aid or grants, if available. Several smaller grants can add up to a fair sized amount very quickly. Be mentally and physically prepared for a very intense and stressful experience. Don't become discouraged, just remind yourself of your ultimate goal.
