Description of service
I purchased a new 2008 Elantra, which requires full coverage, while keeping the 1994 Saturn that I had payed off several years earlier. At the time the Saturn cost me $620 per year for just above minimal insurance. The full cost of my insurance policies for both cars came to $1640 per year. During my discussions with the insurance company concerning my options they explained that if I dropped the Saturn that I would lose not only the Multi car discount but my multi policy discount would be reduced (I have house insurance with the same company). The resulting double drop in my discount would mean that my policy for just the Elantra would be $1580 per year.
Review of Service
The company reviewed all of my options very well, in fact coming up with a few that I had not considered. They were also very prompt in faxing the proof of insurance to the dealership as well as suppling me with the new cards for me.
Tips
I have been very impressed with the amount of money I have saved with having all of my insurance with one company, no company has been able to beat the pricing I receive by breaking up my house and car insurance, I recommend the bundling of these services to anyone with access to such a service.
