the Price of Online Game Rental

This online service touts over 6,000 rental games available for the hottest gaming systems. The service works similar to online movie rental plans. You can play the rental games without worrying about late fees. Customers can select a service plan for either 1 or 2 game rentals at a time. The company mails the rental games to you at no additional cost and provides a postage paid mailer for you to return the game. You can list games in your queue and they will automatically send your next pick after you return a game. Or you can request specific titles. You can cancel your subscription at any time without a penalty or service fee.

The convenience and fun of having game rentals delivered is great. However, I did not feel this service was a good value overall. The turn around time was just too long. It took about a week or more for them to receive my returned games. I could not rent any additional games during that lengthy time.

Their website claims to have a new return system with more processing centers that expedites the whole process. Although, I am a bit jaded by their past service, this sounds like it may be the solution.

Try a free trial if your curious, but be sure to cancel it on time if you dislike the service.

Remember, they charge the service fee even if you do not choose to rent any games that month (i.e. traveling, etc).
